Eric Rigsby

Memorial Park Elementary School has officially received our certification of Level 3 in Marzano High Reliability Schools. Level 3 certification means Memorial Park Elementary School has created a “Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum” for our students. We are very honored to announce this certification and we are so proud of the hard work by each staff member to make this happen. The work to obtain these certifications, continually pushes our staff to create positive and enriching classroom environments for our students.

MPS Teacher of the Year - Ashley Goodwin
Eric Rigsby

Memorial Park Elementary would like to recognize Mrs. Ashley Goodwin as 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year!

Recently, one of our staff members made this statement describing Mrs. Goodwin: "Ashley Goodwin should be Teacher of the Year because she pours her heart into everything she does for her students. Her second graders absolutely adore her—not just because of her fun and energetic personality, but because they know she truly cares about them. She makes learning exciting and memorable, and her students leave her classroom with not only knowledge, but also confidence and a love for school. Ashley is also the kind of colleague and friend who is always there to help, listen, and lift others up. She leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets, especially her students, who will carry the joy and lessons she’s given them for years to come. She would represent JCS and MPS and what we stand for exceptionally!"

Mrs. Goodwin's passion for teaching and love for students is evident each day at Memorial Park Elementary. Please help us congratulate Mrs. Ashley Goodwin!
